Consultation

If you choose IVF Bridge Fertility Centre for your treatment, we will guide you through steps of your journey for fertility treatment which will include an individual consultation with our expert fertility specialist doctor.

Prior to beginning treatment, our fertility specialists will involve both of you and your spouse in consultations, discussions and the planning of IVF programme. A treatment plan will then be planned for you, which will include a discussion of rationale, possible alternatives, cost structure and time limit.

History

Your initial evaluation with our fertility specialist doctors will include a review of your medical histories. The doctor will ask questions to try to get clues as to the cause of your infertility.

Physical Examination

Both you and your spouse may undergo a full physical examination. The women’s internal examination may include the pelvic examination. Ultrasound scan can help us discover abnormalities with the uterus, fallopian tubes and/or ovaries . We can sometimes see evidence of pelvic scarring, such as when an ovary appears to be stuck to the uterus.

Some overweight women likely to have a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Women who have PCOS experienced irregular or no menstrual periods, they do not regularly ovulate. This is why they have difficulty conceiving.

Men may be asked to produce a semen sample for analysis - Sperm Analysis (SA).
